Racing Career

Matt launched his career into professional motor racing after winning the inaugural Silverstone Racing School Scholarship in 2003.

After an impressive 10- year Kart Racing career in which Matt won the National S2 Karting Championship, he then went on to be crowned BRDC Formula Ford Champion in 2004.

Matt then raced Formula Renault UK with the support Silverstone and BRDC Young Rising Star status was achieved along with Motorsport News ‘Best Newcomer’ in 2005.  Matt went on to test for ADR and LOLA in Formula 3.  

Matt was runner-up when he raced in China and the States before returning to the Formula Renault BARC series in the UK with more podium success.  With selected Formula Ford 1600 invitation races and more recently Matt has achieved class wins in Historic Touring Cars and MSV Trophy alongside customers under his tutelage.
